Lineup of 15 Iranian shorts and features has been set to be screened at the 2019 Jehlum Short & Long Film Festival in India.

The selected titles to compete at this edition of the film event are ‘To Be Far’ by Samira Kamali, ‘The Dome of Universe’ by Mahmoud Nazeri, ‘The Veiled Persona’ by Elham Atyabi, ‘Le Cliche’ by Mahmoud-Reza Esmaili-Zand, ‘The Tree’ by Hamid-Reza Darvish, ‘A Typical Day’ by Hossein Jeyroudi, ‘Yin &Yang’ by Ali Alizadeh, ‘Retouch’ by Kaveh Mazaheri, ‘We’ by Mani Nasri, ‘Turbid’ by Abouzar Paknejad, ‘Weavers of Imagination’ by Sadeq Jafari, ‘Birthday Night’ by Omid Shams, ‘Oblivion’ by Fatemeh Mohammadi, ‘Flight 655’ by Hamid Jamali and Saeed Mayahi, as well as ‘Blows with the Wind’ by Hazhir Asadi.

The short film ‘Retouch’ which appears among the festival attendees has been screened at a big number of national and international film festivals and succeeded to take home a plethora of nominations and awards. The 2018 MediaWave Film and Music Festival in Hungary, for example, awarded it the Best Short Film.

Asadi’s ‘Blows with the Wind’ has also been attending various film events.

The latest edition of the Jehlum Short & Long Film Festival is slated to hold in February 2019.
